Joshua Becker, PhD is a psychologist licensed in Texas who has expertise in neuropsychology and forensic psychology. Dr. Becker earned his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, an APA-accredited program. As a graduate student, Dr. Becker received specialized training in neuropsychology and psychological assessment in outpatient and inpatient settings where he served various populations. After finishing his doctorate, Dr. Becker completed a 2-year fellowship in neuropsychology at the VA North Texas Health Care Neuropsychology Clinic in Dallas, TX, an APPCN accredited program. During his fellowship, Dr. Becker worked in outpatient and inpatient settings where he saw people with a wide range of neurological, psychological, and medical conditions. Upon completion of his fellowship in neuropsychology, Dr. Becker entered private practice where he conducts clinical and forensic evaluations. Dr. Becker has experience conducting both criminal and civil assessments and has performed numerous defense base act (DBA) evaluations. His clinical interests include disorders related to aging, brain injury, alcohol and substance use disorders, psychiatric disorders, such as posttraumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar, and other mood and anxiety disorders, and working with individuals with complex medical histories.
Raquel Kirmse, PsyD is a licensed psychologist and pediatric neuropsychologist who specializes in the assessment of children and adolescents (ages 0 to 18) in both English and Spanish. Dr. Kirmse obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology (with specialty training in neuropsychology) at Albizu University in Miami, Florida. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas where she worked closely with post-acute patients recovering from brain injury, as well as provided psychological and neuropsychological services to inpatient psychiatric patients. Dr. Kirmse subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation where she provided services to patients with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, and medically complex populations. She completed a second postdoctoral fellowship in clinical child psychology and neuropsychology at Children’s Health (Children’s Medical Center Dallas) where she completed a major rotation within an outpatient multidisciplinary clinic providing assessment services for children aged 0 to 5. She subsequently worked in a children’s hospital where she conducted evaluations for high risk NICU children during early critical years. She currently maintains an independent practice in Frisco, Texas.
Dr. Galusha is a licensed psychologist providing Clinical and Forensic Psychological Services. She is currently licensed in Texas, Virginia and through PsyPact. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in Huntsville, Texas. The Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at SHSU is accredited by the American Psychological Association and provides a strong emphasis and extensive training both clinical and forensic psychology. Dr. Galusha completed her internship (APA-Accredited) and postdoctoral training at the Wyoming State Hospital (WSH) in Evanston, Wyoming working in the Criminal Justice, Outpatient/Extended Psychiatric Services and Inpatient Units. Her correctional psychology experience included sexual offender treatment and assessment in Texas and Wyoming, and as the Chief Psychologist at the Correctional Mental Health Center in Jessup, Maryland. Dr. Galusha has worked as a forensic evaluator for the Commonwealth of Virginia from 2013 to the present. As a member of executive leadership, she served as the Director of Psychology & Forensic Services at Central State Hospital, Clinical Director at Eastern State Hospital,
and Clinical Director at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health- League City. Dr. Galusha has taught graduate level courses in psychological assessment and psychopathology at Alabama A&M and Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Galusha has specialized training in forensic psychology. She conducts comprehensive forensic psychological examinations, provides attorney consultation, and serves as an expert witness. Dr.
Galusha is specialized in providing the Court with comprehensive, timely and accurate forensic evaluations with defensible conclusions. She has criminal and civil court expert witness experience. Her experience includes forensic evaluations with children, adolescents and adults, including
individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ID/DD.
